American Champagne

Artistic exploration of Los Angeles – Artworks and Documentary,  2023
Maison Douce Artcollective

In the summer of 2023, we set out on a field trip to Los Angeles, California. There are few places in the world as closely related to big dreams, arts, music, and entertainment as the City of Angels. So we spent a month there to dive into the radiant art scene, explore the omnipresent new age vibes, and find new sources of inspiration. All staged between natural beauty, a consumerist utopia, and unleashed social conflicts.

All works can be viewed and purchased at Mothership Gallery. Price list by mail request.

"American Champagne," each piece serves as a profound visualization of non-verbal atmospheres —a unique exploration of the city's vibe and intricate observations. Dedicated to themes that echo subconscious collective dynamics and the underlying currency
of the city's reality.

As artists, we function as conduits, absorbing and experiencing these urban vibes before transmuting them into visual narratives.
From the digital realm through the printing process, to the meticulous application of layers of resin and pigments. This becomes a crucial part of a creative cycle—a manual and meaningful process that breathes life into our narratives.

"American Champagne" is not merely a series of artworks; it's a testament to the profound interplay between reality, digitization, and the manual craftsmanship that defines our artistic identity.

Each piece encapsulates a story, a fragment of our collective experience, and it is through this intentional process that we strive to engage our audience in a dialogue that goes beyond the visual and delves into the very essence of our shared human experiences.
